Trends in maternal health indicators, issues, upcoming strategic directions
The thematic report “Trends in maternal and child health indicators, issues, upcoming strategic directions” was prepared by analyzing the main indicators in the field of maternal and child health and assessing the trends of recent decades. The situational analysis was carried out in the official publications of the National Institutes of Health (NIH) National Health Information Analytical Center (ATVAC) and the Statistical Committee of the Republic of Armenia (Statistical Yearbooks, Demographic Collections, Thematic Reports) Based on the available data on children & women & health, health indicators, assessment of their trends & internationally comparable data in the sample research reports (Demographic & Health Surveys: 2000, 2005, 2010 & 2015-2016, etc.).
