Meeting-discussion with representatives of non-governmental organizations

A meeting-discussion with the representatives of non-governmental organizations was held today at the National Institute of Health with the representatives of non-governmental organizations dedicated to the presentation of the results of the decentralized HIV / AIDS test within the framework of the UN Joint Program on HIV / AIDS.
The meeting was attended by the First Deputy Minister of Health Lena Nanushyan, the head of the UN Joint Program on HIV / AIDS Rosa Babayan and other representatives of the sphere.
The results of the “Strengthening HIV / AIDS Response Capacities in Armenia” program, HIV / AIDS testing, as well as the rapid HIV / AIDS testing in the regions of Armenia were presented at the meeting.
Welcoming the participants, the Director of the National Institute of Health Alexander Bazarchyan presented the work done by the NIH within the framework of the above-mentioned program, in particular, the results of the program on strengthening the capacity to fight HIV / AIDS in Armenia.
In her introductory speech, First Deputy Minister of Health Lena Nanushyan emphasized the importance of the meeting. Summarizing the results of the program today, we can make the existing problems and obstacles more visible, adapting our further work according to the needs. ”
According to Rosa Babayan, the head of the UN Joint Program on HIV / AIDS, the results of the program are quite telling: such meetings will make all the program gaps and problems more tangible, which will help to make services more accessible and better in the future.
